Comments: | It's been several months, but I finally had a chance to use the NOVAC RoboScope last night. It was cool here in VA and a nice crescent moon was up so it was nice to sit in my living room remotely operating a telescope. Users typically only have 1 hour time slots. I started with two quick images of 4201 Orosz, then moved on to try to do shots of Tempel 1. Started with a 2 minute exposure through a clear filter. Then I was going to try to do a color image using the RGB filters. Unfortunately there was some issue with the autoguiding and I did not get the emails from CT to avoid doing long (>2 min) exposures, so I ended up losing about half hour fidgeting around with that. I was able to get a second shot of T1 at some point. When I get those images processed, I'll upload them to this Gallery. |
