[Comet now a difficult object again through this aperture. This object has now returned fully to the diffuse appearance that it had before the impact, and the coma appears spherical again visually, with no sign of an extension or any hint of tail. Sidgewick Method and Tycho 2 comparison stars used. Naked eye limiting magnitude near the comet 7.0. Very clear and cold conditions.] |
