m1=10.2, Dia. =4', DC=2... 15x60 B... Dark, clear sky. Comet very difficult through this aperture. Coma is increasingly diffuse. Looking forward to the "man-made" change in a couple of days. Sidgewick Method and Tycho 2 comparison stars used. Naked eye limiting magnitude near the comet 6.6. I will resume telescopic examination from tomorrow night, particularly to try and detect any pre-comparison from any major event arising from this coming Monday night. |
