Comments: | Used ephemeris information from this site to plug in RA/DEC coordinates. Scope slewed to coordinates. Comet appeared to be only object in EP, with surrounding objects (stars) near edge of FOV. Comet appeared very faint and not well defined in scope (mag 13.9). We knew it was the comet as surrounding stars were observed to be more like pinpoints. Comet appeared slightly blue/gray in cast compared to stars. |
