m1=11.0 Dia. =2' DC=6 20cm L f/9 72x Coma very much more condensed tonight, much more apparent and compact. Central stellar condensation visible with direct vision. Sidgewick method used and comparison stars in same field as the comet. Little evidence of a coma extension or beginnings of tail however. Coma virtually spherical from this observer's point of view tonight. |
