Comments: | Hi everyone,
I managed to get a half an hour opening to image 9P/Tempel 6 1/2 hour after impact. The ejecta supposed to have moved out 40 arcsec or so, but nothing is visible on the image, the coma is just 1 to 1.5 magnitude brighter (magnitude 10) than the day before and became more stellar. The tail is clearly visible however. 6 x 100s with the C9.25 and the D70 @ f6.3 and 1600 ISO. Scale 2arcsec/pixel. |
