Image Parameter | Details |
Comments: | Nearly full Moon only 18 degrees away! The only way to obtain a decent image was to use a narrowband filter centered @ 647nm (FWHM= 10nm). This filter isolates the dust continuum in the red, i.e. the sunlight scattered by the cometary dust present in the coma and/or tail. In spite of the strong moonlight, it's possible to see an elongated coma toward South-West |
