| Comments: | Integrated coma magnitude m1=11.1, Diameter=2.2', DC=6 using in-out focus (Sidgwick) estimation method. Comparison stars v=10.43, 11.04, 11.27 magnitudes from Tycho2+Bessell corrections. 7 minutes after impact, comet appears to develop a brightened, stellar-like core, no longer just a uniform diffuse blob. The nuclear brightening contributes to a slight increase in overall integrated coma brightness (m1) too. |
