[Extremely unstable weather with cloud forming and dissipating every few minutes. Quick observation through gaps in clouds. Definite slight brightening towards centre of coma. Outer coma extremely diffuse and difficult to evaluate the outer limits. Above estimate based on the certain visibility. Outer coma could be twice this size, but too difficult to judge with any certainty. Sidgewick method used.] |
