[Very much better than the previous observation last night. The comet is much more condensed, and easy in the above instrument again. Almost star-like central condensation with a large faint outer coma. I feel that local conditions played a large part in the rather negative results last night. Slight hint of a coma extension to the south-west. Confirmable in sketch to follow.] |
